Think Spot 6 July 2015
Philippians 2:1-4 "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."
If Christians, both individually and collectively, followed this instruction from Paul, imagine the difference it would make... It does seem, alas, as if it doesn't appear in the Bible of some professing Christians today... The world has enough selfish and proud people. There can be no place for selfishness and pride in the church.
Go into this week asking God to show you how you can be selfless to others and bless them abundantly. That could be with planned acts of kindness or it could be acts of kindness done on the spur of the moment.
