with all my soul, my mind and my heart;
and to love my neighbours,
friends and enemies as myself.

Lord, protect me
from evil people and demons,
from impure passions
and all unseemly things.
~~~~~
Lord, You know all things;
Lord, I desire Your goodness;
Lord, let Your will be done, not mine, be done
for You are blessed forever.

For I ask this O Father
in the name of your Son Jesus
and in the power of the ever indwelling Holy Spirit. Amen.

- the families of Shirley who died earlier this month
- the family of baby Samuel who died 13th June 2013 due to poor health.

A prayer for those grieving
Father God,
be the strength for all those
who are grieving and mourning
the loss of loved ones.

Father God,
we pray that those in despair
will be helped and
where there is darkness
there will be light.

We pray today for all those grieving and mourning the loss of loved ones. We pray this in light of recent events involving untimely deaths
- Oklahoma due to a tornado,
- an innocent young man, Drummer Lee Rigby, brutally killed in Woolwich, London,
- an innocent elderly man, Mohammed Saleem, killed in Birmingham
- needless deaths in Bangladesh in the collapse of a factory,
- deaths in Pakistan, Syria and other places where conflict is rife.

Father God,

the ineffable sea of love,
the fountain of blessings,
and the bestower of affection,
Who sends peace to those that receive it;
open to us this day the sea of Your love,
and water us with the plenteous streams from the riches of Your grace.

Make us children of quietness,
and heirs of peace.
Kindle in us the fire of Your love;
sow in us Your fear;
strengthen our weakness by Your power;

Lord Jesus, as God's Spirit came
down and rested upon you, may
the same Spirit rest upon and be within us.

O Yahweh, Grant us the gift of
understanding, by which your
precepts may enlighten our minds.
~
O Jehovah, Grant us counsel, by
which we may follow in your
footsteps on the path of righteousness.
~
O Great God, grant us courage, by
which we may ward off the
Enemy's attacks.
~
O Sovereign God, grant us knowledge.
by which we can distinguish
good from evil.
~
O Merciful God, grant us piety, by
which we may acquire
compassionate hearts.
~
O Holy God, grant us fear, by which
we may draw back from evil
and submit to what is good.
~
O ineffable God grant us wisdom,
that we may taste fully the
life-giving sweetness of your love.

For we ask this O God our Father,

Opening Prayer Almighty God our Father, we lift before you all those injured and killed in these events:- Baghdad Bombings
- Iran & Pakistan Earthquake
- Boston explosion
- Texas explosion and fire

General Prayer of Comfort Lord God, from your wellsprings of grace and mercy, hear and answer the words of our mouth and cries of our hearts... Be a comfort for those grieving, surround them in your love and wipe the tears from their eyes... Help those administering aid, counsel and support... Amen!~
Time for you to give prayer to God~
Closing Prayer O Father! We ask all these things, through the majestic name of Your Son, Jesus Christ and in the power of the Holy Spirit who lives inside us! Amen!~
