“16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:16-17)
7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: he sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. (1 John 4:7-12)
Come and explore what the Bible has to say about God of Love. What does this mean for the unbeliever and for the Christian? How has God’s love been seen in the past? How is God’s love seen today? Let’s discover together more about God and His love by listening to the podcast!

“22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. (Hebrews 12:22-24)
11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:11-15)
Come and explore what the Bible has to say about God of Judgment. You may just be surprised! What does this mean for the unbeliever and for the Christian? Will Christians be judged, and if they are, what concerning? Let’s discover together more about several aspects concerning God and His judgments by listening to the podcast!

“23 Then he said to them all: ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. 24 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. 25 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self? 26 Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. (Luke 9:23-26)
“1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father – Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. 4 Whoever says, ‘I know him,’ but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: 6 whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.” (1 John 2:1-6)
I wonder what you think the goal of being a Disciple of Jesus Christ is? Praying a lot? Perhaps it is reading and memorizing the whole Bible? Doing lots of evangelism or doing lots of work for the church? As admirable as those things are, they are not the goal for all those who call themselves, Christian, a Disciple of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal for any Christian Disciple is to be as John wrote “must live as Jesus did.”, to walk and live as Jesus did.
Come and explore what the Bible has to say about the goal of being a Christian. It is almost forgotten in a lot of the Church today, it seems! What does it meant to live as Jesus did, to walk and live as He did? Let’s discover together how this is possible! Find out more by listening to the podcast!

“1 Now about the collection for the Lord’s people: do what I told the Galatian churches to do. 2 On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made. (1 Corinthians 16:1-2)
“6 Remember this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written: ‘They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures for ever.’” (2 Corinthians 9:6-9)
Every Christian, has in differing quantities time, possessions and, of course, money. The whole Christian community is to be a community where the strongest members support the weakest members. This applies not only to the local church, but also to the universal Church and therefore has a national and international context as well.
Come and explore what the Bible has to say about the Christian and and giving. Discover more about what giving involves and what the role of giving as perhaps the greatest indicator of your spiritual growth. What is the role of God to be in your giving to others? Giving, a practical part of love and more can be heard by listening to the podcast! Go give and live!

“14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” (Matthew 6:14-15)
“12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” (Colossians 3:12-14)
Forgiveness! Every Christian can claim to have experienced forgiveness! What is forgiveness? True forgiveness is not just saying sorry!! Forgiveness is to include penitence and also a desire never to do that same thing again. Forgiveness of course is a major part of Christianity, both in the way that God forgives when approached in penitence and repentance, but also in the way Christians forgive others and themselves! In both giving and receiving forgiveness, consider Jesus Christ and the enormity of His forgiveness.
Come and explore what the Bible has to say about the Christian and and forgiveness. Discover more about what forgiveness is, the role of forgiveness in the life of the Christian, in both giving and receiving it! What role does God have in forgiveness? Finally, come and hear a test to see if you need to forgive somebody else! Forgiveness, a part of love and more can be heard by listening to the podcast!

“3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people – 5 the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel 6 that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world – just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace. (Colossians 1:3-6)
“5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” (1 John 1:5-7)
Fellowship! I meet people who tell me they are Christians, but don’t want to go to a church anymore. But by not doing so, they are missing out on perhaps one of the greatest blessings of being a Christian: fellowship. One of the great things of being a Christian, is the simple act of fellowship, which results from walking with one another (1 John 1:7). God has created us for fellowship and Jesus Christ has redeemed us so that we can have this fellowship together.
Come and explore what the Bible has to say about the Christian and and fellowship. Discover more about what fellowship is, why the Chrsitian is to engage in fellowship and the various ways in which the Bible describes Christian fellowship in action. Being in fellowship with other Christians, is part of following Jesus Christ, so come and explore this dynamic word, Fellowship, by downloading and listening to the podcast!

“14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to feel sympathy for our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:14-16)
“6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
Faith! As a Christian, you have faith! What do you know about faith? People always say that faith is blind! However the Bible says that faith is a total confidence in God’s faithfulness, which leads to reliance, trust and total obedience to Him (Hebrews 11:6). We see this faith in the Godly obedience of those around us and from the Bible and church history.
Come and explore what the Bible has to say about the Christian and faith. Discover what faith is, what faith has to do with your mind, heart and will and how you can show your faith to be active as you have faith in Jesus Christ. An active faith, is part of following Jesus Christ, so come and explore by downloading and listening to the podcast!

“I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make Disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new Disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
(Matthew 28:18-20)
“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (Romans 10:14-15)
Evangelism is telling & showing others of God’s message of reconciliation to all people of all time. While you may not be called to be an evangelist (Ephesians 4:11), you are called to do the work of an evangelist (2 Timothy 4:5). In Jesus’ last words on earth, His church was commanded to be witnesses for Him (Acts 1:8). You are a member of that church, and as a part of the Church, you are included in the way God has chosen to spread His message of reconciliation (Acts 4:12; 2 Peter 3:9).
Come and explore what the Bible has to say about the Christian and the Christian evangelism. Discover more about what evangelism is, why we are to evangelise as well as learning from some of the mistakes the Church has made concerning this essential of the Christian faith. “You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine.“ (Titus 2:1)
The word ‘doctrine’ in a lot of places is unfashionable. The words translated as “doctrine” are found frequently in the letters written by Paul, primarily 1 & 2 Timothy and Titus. The original words are didache (the act of teaching) and didaskalia (that which is taught) used fifteen times. are translated as doctrine. Doctrine is the study of God, as revealed through the pages of the Bible. Why do Christians need to learn and study doctrine? What does this mean for the Christian? Why does it matter for a Christian to learn and study doctrine regarding the God they follow?

What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self? Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.” (Luke 9v23-26)
Yesterday we looked at the Cross of Jesus Christ. Today we look at the Christian having to carry their own cross, as commanded by Jesus! What is our response to that to be? It must be just about the hardest, toughest, most difficult thing Jesus ever said to his followers. We are being commanded to count the cost of following Him. How do we count the cost of following Jesus? What does this mean for the Christian Disciple?
