Please add messages of support prayers & comments for those affected by the

storms and tornadoes in the United States.

This is for people of all creeds, religions or none... There is a huge psychological difference made to somebody between seeing/knowing people are thinking of them (a great boost) and merely hoping people are thinking of them... We know of churches and people in the area and shall be giving them copies of what is put here, just as we did for New Zealand and Australia. If for some reason, words are failing you, then prayer or post this based on Psalm 40 "O God, Help and deliver me from this pit for I am poor and needy!"

Virginia, Alabama and residents of other areas in USA who have been affected by the recent storms and tornados, please know that I am praying for you.

Dear Heavenly Father, We come to You, because You are such an awesome God. You alone know the plans You have for each of us, plans to prosper us and not harm us, to give us hope and a future. We know that You have not caused the disasters that have devastated so many areas. We know that You want those affected to lean on You. We thank You, that even when things feel out of control, You are in control. We realize that much is needed now, in the means of support, whether financial, emotional or spiritual. We pray it is Your will to provide for the needs of the people. Help rebuild homes and lives. We pray that many have come to a saving relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ, as a result of the terror that was experienced and pray it is Your will for all to rebuild their lives, quickly. We thank You in advance for this, and are asking this in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

Father God, we come to You and lift up those in my neighboring states in the South, who have experienced great loss during the recent tornadoes and devastating storms. First and foremost for Your comfort, strength and peace for those who have lost family members and loved ones; and for those who have lost homes and livelihoods. You are a very present help in times of trouble, and we ask that You will help these precious ones to walk through this very difficult place and help them to rebuild their lives, their homes and their communities. We ask for Your divine protection over the United States, and pray that those who do not know You as their Savior and Lord will turn to You in this time of great need. We ask You, Lord to bless and to restore, in the name of Jesus. For those who are in the position to help with provision, I pray that compassion and generosity of spirit will be shown to those who are in need, and that basic life sustaining necessities are forthcoming speedily. Thank You Jesus for answered prayer. Amen.

Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 12:35-39, NLT)

Dear sisters and brothers in the devastated states.

I hope and pray that the forces of nature that manifest are bearable and that the Holy Spirit gives you comfort. I pray that local churches come to your aid and the Body of Christ emerges as the true Church it is.

    Love and prayers, Lorraine
