This is for people of all creeds, religions or none...  There is a huge psychological difference made to somebody between seeing/knowing people are thinking of them (a great boost) and merely hoping people are thinking of them....

We have plans in place, to distribute these messages to people who will pass them on in Australia...

We have had some feedback and they are at the bottom at the moment... New in are photos of the floods affecting the town of Kerang in Victoria...

We are thinking of you and praying for you every day. May God bless you and help you, may God be with you in inner strength and peace, and in such help as we can send you from around the world. God bless and help the people, the animals and the plants of Queensland.

Words can feel inadequate ….. but behind the words are prayers, sympathy, love and hope.

Father, hold Queensland in your loving arms and bring comfort and strength.

I cannot understand what state of despair Queensland is in and how you are all coping.

All I can do is pray for that strength to manage which emerges from the depth of our beings, and gone beyond ourselves.

Please know you are in our minds and prayers. During the Pakistan floods, I prayed, and God leant to use me in a miraculas way. Just let Partakers know what you need.

Meanwhile one huge virtual (((((hug))))), keep strong, although you are on the other side of the planet the internet brings you into our homes.

May You provide for people’s physical needs, but even deeper into their greater need for You. May Your light shine in hearts that have been closed and may Your healing touch the deepest wounds.

I just watched several videos of the awful flooding in your area. It is utterly devastating in proportions, that only seeing is believing. I am asking our Heavenly Father to intervene and somehow ‘pull the plug’ to let the waters abate. And to cover each and everyone with His protection, strength and hope.

My deepest prayers are with you daily. In the midst of this, please hang on to God and trust in Him, Charlene in southern Mexico

Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus. We pray for the peoples of Australia. We lift them ALL up to You as You don’t want a single soul to perish. As Mary brought her petition to Jesus at the wedding in Canan when they were out of wine, the simplicity of her prayer is our request also. It is written in Your Holy Word Father that if we ask anything in Christ Jesus name it would be so. Thy Will be done Father. So be it. In Christ Jesus’ name we pray.

I cannot imagine the terror of what you are all experiencing, but I can hold you up in prayer. Father, I come to You on bended knee, because You are in control of everything, even when we feel things are out of control. Father, I can recall when flooding occurred within minutes around my home, several years ago, with water levels rising more than 2 feet, surrounding my home and threatening to break my patio door. Father, I cannot even imagine, not being able to find relief, as You provided for my husband and I, at that time. I pray Father, that it is Your will to provide for all who have been displaced due to the flooding in Queensland, Australia. Father, I believe this is the beginning of sorrows Your Word speaks of. Father, I pray that You will not only provide for all affected, but that You will restore their lives. Save people, both physically and spiritually. I pray it is Your will for many to be saved through this disaster. Father, provide physically, so that none should perish, due to not having food/water and basic needs. Father, I ask in the name of Jesus, that it is Your will to stop the flooding, quickly. I ask this in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

It is impossible to comprehend what you are all experiencing at the moment, it was bad enough you loosing the Ashes to England, but on a serious note I pray that God would stop the floods from spreading further, that people be provided with the basic requirements to survive in a decent manner and that love be shown by all to each other, bringing the nation and communities together. I also pray for wisdom for the government as they attempt to provide support to all the needy. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen

To the residents of Queensland: You are in the thoughts and prayers of many. To hear the reports of the disastrous flooding and the lives of many lost is tragic. The pain you must all be experiencing and uncertainty must be beyond knowledge. We pray for strength, courage and perseverance for all of you. We also pray for speedy and effective help to supply your needs and for a cessation of the rain causing the flooding. God be with you all and protect you.

For all those in need, suffering, hurting or afraid - God said “Fear not for I am with you.” If you are not a Christian please know that God loves you and cares about you. The floods, fires, drought etc are not the work of God but of the world we live in. My prayers are for you all, that you will be safe, healed and provided for. May you not be afraid!

To all affected by the flooding, my thoughts and prayers are with you. The world watches and the world cares, the world thinks of you, but God KNOWS you by name. The Bible describes him as a ’strong tower’ where we can take refuge. Words are easy, but you really can take your strength from him at this time and find your peace in him… even if you haven’t before - he doesn’t mind!!

“Lord, we come to you, lifting up these people and this land of yours. Though we don’t understand the ways of the world, we trust in you, O Lord. Bring us comfort throughout this tragic ordeal. Lord, we lean on you for strength and courage to get us through each minute of your day. We accept this hardship as an opportunity to grow, and depend on you as our sole provider. Lord, bring us healing. We pray these things in your holy name, Amen!”

Dear Lord, Please be with those affected by the floods, protect them and keep them safe. We particularly pray for miracles for those missing, that they will have found a place where they are safe. Strengthen and comfort their families, particularly those who watch helplessly form other parts of the globe. We pray for wisdom for the leaders of the nation and the emergency services, as they organise the available resources to help those in need. It is hard for us to comprehend the scale of this disaster, but you, O Lord are greater than any flood. Amen

our prayers and love and concerns go out to those who have been devastated and to those who have lost loved ones and to the survivors, sometimes things happen to bring people back to God and to repent . i will continue to pray to our Father who art in Heaven , hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come , Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.Give us this day our daily bread. Mt 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Mt 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. in Christ Jesus Lynne

Father, You alone know the plans You have for each of us. You alone, know the plans you have for the world, especially in end-times. You alone, know the plans you have for Australia and its people. Father, we thank you that we have heard that water levels are decreasing in the Brisbane area. We thank You, that You are in control of all things. Father, we come to you, praying it is Your will to protect Your own. We pray it is Your will to heal this land. Father, we know that if Your people who are called, will humble themselves and pray, turn from their wicked ways, You promised to heal their land. Father, I’m not saying that Australia has been wicked, so please do not misunderstand my prayer. Wickedness happens in ALL lands. At the moment, all lands need healing; therefore, if all Your children would be obedient to Your will, You would heal all lands. However, today, we come to You once more, for Australia and its people. We are thankful that we can pray to You. We pray it is Your will for the flooding to stop and the waters to recede from where they should not be, in Australia. Father, we look to You, for You are the author and finisher of all. Only You, can do this. We thank you in advance, and pray this in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

Good Morning all - you cannot know the feeling to have some many send forward their prayers and well-wishes for us here in Qld. We certainly have had some trying times, some very sad times, but thankfully also some happy moments. The floods, the ‘inland Tsunami’, the loss of life are difficult things to see and bear. Some are ‘cleaning up’, other are just preparing to begin as the flood water’s head their way. It is amazing to me that such a diaster has to occur for such solidarity to be demonstrated. But to all you Christian folk, may I point you again to the Words of Our Saviour: “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” (John 13:34-35). May Gods Love shine through you all! Praise The Lord for His goodness to us! Keep Looking UP! On Sunday 16th January I led prayers about the flood disasters in the morning service at Poulner Baptist Chapel…

In the past week or so, we have seen the footage of flooding in Australia, which was the size of France and Germany combined. So last week I put a prayer wall on the internet and we have had over 100 people respond, Christians, atheists and agnostics, putting prayers and good wishes there. This was originally for the Australian floods but now also for the floods in Brazil and Sri Lanka. We have had some response from churches in Queensland, and here is what one pastor replied.

Good Morning all - you cannot know the feeling to have some many send forward their prayers and well-wishes for us here in Queensland. We certainly have had some trying times, some very sad times, but thankfully also some happy moments. The floods, the ‘inland Tsunami’, the loss of life are difficult things to see and bear. Some are ‘cleaning up’, other are just preparing to begin as the flood water’s head their way. It is amazing to me that such a disaster has to occur for such solidarity to be demonstrated.

Pastor Tim Bunch, Garden City Baptist Church, Toowoomba

So lets pray for all these areas.

Father, we look at the scenes on our television and on the internet of the flooding in Australia, Brazil and Sri Lanka, and see the devastation, suffering and chaos caused. In the midst of this though, we see people showing extraordinary care towards each other and a willingness to help where help is needed. We ask O God for safety for all those involved in the clear up. We also pray that the governments, insurance companies and other organizations would be compassionate and merciful. We pray that those who are missing, will be found safe and reunited with their families and friends. During this time, O Lord, may it be a time of ordinary people showing extraordinary love to each other, regardless of class, gender or other barriers. We pray against those willing to commit criminal activity, particularly against the vulnerable. Lastly, Lord, we know that this earth is groaning and creaking, waiting for the fullness of its redemption to come. For that fullness of redemption, we await as well. Amen

    Hi Dave

Rudi passed this on to me, I am an elder at the Kerang Presbyterian Church. I thank you very much for your prayers and messages. I live in Swan Hill which is about 60k from Kerang. Kerang is currently totally isolated, but the levy banks are holding, just. The Kerang power station is also totally surrounded by water, if it is shut down 20,000 homes and business will loose power. Many people have been evacuated from Kerang, including most of the older members of our congregation. We in Swan Hill are preparing for the arrival of the water, many outlying houses are being sandbagged but like Kerang there will be a number of houses flooded. Cornerstone operate here in Swan Hill and their buildings are not protected by levy banks so are in danger of being flooded. Again I thank you for your support. Regards and God’s Blessings Steve

    Dear Dave

Thank you for your prayers and your email. We have certainly felt supported and appreciate every email and encouragement we have received from the world wide church.

Please continue to pray for the emotional, physical and spiritual strenght of our community as many are still not permitted back to where their homes once were and many more have been traumatised by the sights and sounds of people in desperation and of the flood as it hit.

    With appreciation

Thank you Dave for your Christian love, care and prayers. We are in the clean up phase now, here in Rockhampton and the church is busy helping to prepare meals for the State Emergency Service and other agencies & volunteers. The difficulty here has been getting supplies to the many cities and towns to the North and West of Rockhampton as the road, rail & airport was cut for nearly two weeks. The governments have been great in getting supplies through and now that the highways North and South are open again the many trucks heading north can get through.

It has been a logistical nightmare but praise God it is coming to an end. The airport and rail are still not up and running but with God’s grace by the end if this week we should be more back to normal here in Rocky. Brisbane and the SE corner will take much longer to recover though - they say a couple of years.

    God bless you Dave

Father, Once again we come before You, for You are in control of everything, even when we feel things are out of control. Father, You alone know why this flooding happened; only You know how to fix this problem. Father, we come to You, believing Your Word and forgiving those who have hurt us, knowing that our faith can move mountains. Allow our faith to have impact upon You, Father. We pray it is Your will to protect all who have been affected by this flooding; we pray through this tragedy that many will come to know Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Father, we thank You in advance that You will provide for the needs of everyone affected. We ask this in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies; thou anointest my head with oil, my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Everlasting God will answer our prayer by fire, IN JESUS NAME.

I have the link on my Facebook page and both of my websites. I will also spread the news to as many people as possible..You know what they say, if you though enough mud.eventually something sticks. My heart goes out to all the peopple there. I don’t have much to offer but if I could get there I would do all I could to help. A pair of hands can get something accomplished. While I have never experienced the trauma you have, I have experienced having 2 feet of water surrounding my home, on one occasion. It only lasted a short while, but it was devasating. Amen. You can depend on me to be praying Twinnie. There are terrible weather conditions occuring, all around the world. Please do the same for us in the USA. - I haven’t seen it this bad in years! We shall believe God to be our refuge and… fortress. He is indeed our source of peace & protection, during any storm.

Psalm 91 1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

    5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

    9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
