Words! Words are the prime method of communication amongst human beings. We think in words, reason in words, talk in words and write in words. Even if we were never to use words ourselves, words would be used upon and about us by other people. Such is the importance of words.
Christians believe that God has spoken to all of humanity through two Words - two mega words if you like: Jesus Christ and the Bible.
Firstly, there is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Living Word, a title given to him in the Bible.
Secondly, there is the Bible. It is the Written Word because God caused it to be written..
